An attempt at Old Chicago style Pizza on the Big Green Egg.
A little shameless product testing this evening. I felt bad, but had never had a Tombstone pizza on the record so I grabbed a couple from Albertsons on deal over the weekend and stashed them in the freezer for an occasion. Unwrapping them, I was immediately struck by the quantity of toppings as well as the symmetrical placement for a frozen item. It was a double top pizza which brags about it;s toppings, but I was impressed nonetheless. The pizza’s seemed to curl up a bit which did not seem to have any bearing on taste. I did finish them for the last 2 min on the top rack for a bit of additional browning, but otherwise following the directions proved good enough.
