Some photos from the garden of 2011. It was a very cold spring and I did not get many tomato plants in the ground until June but using some zone 4 specific varieties as a test proved to be a good move.
One of my favorite places to go in the sumer time is to the small town of Polebridge. I was first taken there in 1996 when a waitress at the restaurant rented out the Ben Rover Cabin. We soaked in the warm August afternoon, drank tea at sunset, and margaritas after dark. The grassy apron in front of the Northern Lights Cafe was a wonderful place to get lost counting stars in the vast montana sky.
